CAMBERWELL JUNCTION DRAFT STRUCTURE PLAN
by Admin User - Thursday, 10 April 2008, 10:41 PM

PRIORITY NOTICE TO EVERYONE IN JUNCTION WARD

By now you should have received a glossy booklet from Council.

This is a very important document as it sets out future planning guidelines for the Camberwell Junction Precinct and will have a significant impact on how our area is developed.

Camberwell Junction has been designated by the State Government as a Principle Activity Center under its flawed “Melbourne 2030” planning blueprint which aims to push massive development into our area.

This draft plan for the Junction is far removed from the draft drawn up by the Reference Committee, of which two of BRAG’s executives were members - Mary Drost and Liz Burton.

BRAG strongly disagrees with a number of the points and urges you to carefully study the document yourself.

  • To gain further insight you can attend a consultation night on February 13th between 6.30pm and 8.30pm at the council where Council representatives will be on hand to give you more detailed information.
  • Or you can read the attached response suggestion and change or amend it as you see fit, write in your name and address and send it to City of Boroondara, 8 Inglesby Road, Camberwell VIC 3124
    as your response.

Your response is vital as Council wants to hear your views
